Kitchen Cupboards

The lower cupboards were already in the kitchen, not great craftsmanship but hey, they look nice.

The new cupboards have arrived and there is no comparison of the craftsmanship of  these new ones.  This carpenter is good, very good.

The one in yellow is Alfonso the carpenter, the other 2 are his helpers, remember the walls are concrete here.

The finished product.  They really are nice.  He is making a little one for in the bathroom and I'm also having a table/cupboard built for below these where the water cooler is.  I need something low for bread and drawers where I can keep the cutlery without needing a stool!

MEXICO

Arizona

After entering the Grand Canyon state park, you come to the visitor centre, there they have "The Watch Tower" Climb to the top and view the canyon.  Too crowded didn't go to the top.

Here is a view of the canyon, wayyyyy down there is the Colorado River.

In one of the visitor centres was a model of the canyon this is it.

We stayed at a truck stop here in Kayenta.  Kayenta is in the Navajo Nation Reserve.

Fort Arizona

More cool rock formations.

Utah

We were totally amazed by the rock formations.

This place was so cool, here are just a few pictures.
The bull is made from, nuts, bolts and other metal pieces.

Love the hillbilly lawn mower.  That one really appealed to me.

A two story outhouse......too cool

The jeep is made from license plates, the tires from nuts, bolts and scrap pieces the seats are old tractor seats.  Inside the whole thing is made from license plates.
The bears are carved from sandstone.

Colorado

New Grandson

This is Charlie.

He was born on September 3, 2012.  Isn't he just so gorgeous.

Nebraska

Nebraska was so hot we didn't want to stop at all. Had to for the night though so we zipped through that state pretty fast.
One place we stayed this auto wreckers had an old airplane in the yard.
