Minnesota
We made it to Minnesota.
There is even a town called Kenyon.
And Clearwater.
Aiden and Abby at the Minnesota State Fair. This was big and very crowded, didn't take long and we lost Tamsen, John and the kids!
Ben and then the 3 of them at the Oink Booth!
Because we wouldn't be around for his birthday which is the 18th of Sept. We celebrated early we gave him his first model which his dad John started helping him with.
Abby, photo perfect even 1st thing in the morning. What a pretty girl.
One exhausted little boy, snuggled with his monkey and zonked.
John helping Aiden with his puzzle.
A trip around the block in the motorhome before we headed out.
We headed for the area where the Amish are in Minnesota. Here driving through Harmony we passed a few of their buggies.
We also visited an Amish farm.
The campground in Harmony, we're the only ones there, Don had to take a moment to play some tunes.
This is a Terra Legoff!!
After leaving Harmony we continued south Preston was next then Canton and into Iowa.

North Dakota
Welcome to North Dakota

The Crystal Springs Rest Area. Why can't rest areas look like this in Canada
Point of Interest.
A glyph. all the picture phrases follow. See if you can follow the story.
The Badlands of North Dakota
Lots of these fields in North Dakota. That is a field of Sunflowers. Sunflowers as far as the eye can see. If it wasn't Sunflowers it was corn.
Tower City North Dakota. This was one of the cleanest towns I've every seen. Just a quite little place.
Above we look so small compared to the semi's
A quiet street
Below a very long long load.
Minnesota
The 1st welcome centre after entering Minnesota.
Different Points of interest at a few of the rest areas.

And The Journey Begins
Our home for the next few months.
Ashley at Jennifer's house in Maple Ridge.
These cool things are scooters they were a lot of fun. Don and I went scootering to Telegraph Harbour on Thetis Island where we were staying at brother Tom's preparing for the Lee Family Reunion.
Telegraph Harbour Thetis Island
Whose that guy?!! Look at those flowers, saw so many and in so many different colours. Just beautiful.
After the reunion it was time to get Kelsey to Victoria.
Here's the Empress Hotel in all it's glory.
One funky looking flower and it was huge.
I got swindled into helping a street performer. Can you spell "not impressed"! He was a juggler and had a pretty good act.
Ya, I'm putting out his "fire"!
The girls sitting amongst the flowers on the grounds of the Empress. Those are all red roses.
The Parliament Buildings.
Horse drawn trolley. they also had carriage rides drawn by one horse.
